A world where every touchable surface is coated with XTI-360 and germ-free.
Our mission is to eliminate the contact transmission of germs from surfaces and indoor environments in order to 1) prevent the spread of illness, 2) protect our front-line and essential workers, 3) help businesses, and society in general, safely open and operate during this ongoing (and any future) pandemic and 4) help America prepare for additional waves of COVID-19, as well as future outbreaks of other diseases (some of which are already appearing around the globe).
American PPE & Coating Services, Inc. (“APPE”) and American CleanCoating Company (“ACC”) are commonly owned and operated companies formed and based in the United States of America. APPE sells, and will soon produce in America, StaClean™ brand, FDA certified, medical face masks, coated with XTI-360, and coat other PPE and other property with XTI-360. ACC coats surfaces in buildings, building contents (furniture, fixtures, carpeting, curtains, etc.), aircraft, cruise ships, autos, entertainment and sports venues, and all kinds of manufactured products, with XTI-360. Our goal is to reduce contact transmission and cross-infection of virus and bacteria germs through the application of advanced technological solutions.
We can presently provide commercial quantities of high-quality, medical masks, meeting all requirements for FDA certification (customers can specify L1, L2, or L3) and providing at least 95 percent filtration, on a monthly subscription (“auto-order”) basis. This assures customers of timely delivery of a specified number of masks each month, at an assured price, even in times of PPE shortage and resultant spikes in market prices. Until we can fill orders with our own, made in America, StaClean masks, all masks and mask materials sold will be from Taiwan, a United States Government recognized world leader in the management of COVID-19. No masks or materials will be from the People’s Republic of China. (Taiwan, with a population of nearly 25 million people, has had a total of under 10 deaths from COVID-19.)
Joel M. Hartstone, Chairman and CEO
One of the founders of the Companies, Joel brings decades of experience as a serial entrepreneur, investment banker, and corporate lawyer. He has been responsible for numerous start-ups and has served as CEO of companies with as many as 125 employees and eight locations around the country. His management and finance experience spans numerous industries, including radio and television broadcasting, internet, aircraft manufacturing, cable television, and medical devices. Prior to his business career, Joel was a managing partner of a law firm (presently, the CT office of Morgan Lewis) and was the Chief Investment Counsel for Aetna Life & Casualty, with legal responsibility for billions of dollars of corporate investments. He was also an organizer, Founding Trustee, and the first Secretary/Treasurer of the American College of Investment Counsel. Joel is a graduate of Cornell Law School and the Isenberg School of Management at University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
Michael Holbert – President, COO, CTO
Mike is a founder of the company and, for over 10 years, has developed the relationship with XTI and has been responsible for all U.S. product testing and development. He is the Philadelphia Steering Committee Director of the International Self Powered Building Council, a worldwide organization dedicated to clean technologies. He designed, built and financed a showroom/office/mask production facility in Bensalem, PA, where the companies’ technologies can be seen in actual use. Mike is a graduate of Ithaca College and is a GBAC-Trained Technician.
Jarrett Hartstone, Vice President
Jarrett brings years of entrepreneurial experience to the companies. As a founder and president of Safe Side LLC, he launched a company specializing in tamper-proof security seals. As president of Safe Side, Jarrett was responsible for all on-the-ground aspects of the company’s ramp-up. In that regard, Jarrett was responsible for sourcing and contracting for production (OEM, packaging, etc.), recruiting and managing the Company’s retailer network, product introduction and marketing, and overseeing administrative infrastructure. Jarrett is also the owner of Hartstone Productions LLC (“HP”), a music production company formed in 2004. Until the COVID-19 pandemic forced an operational shut down, HP produced concerts and other events, provided festival management services (artist relations, box office and financial management, etc.), and managed performing artists. Jarrett is a graduate of Skidmore College and is a GBAC-Trained Technician.
Claudia Siegle Horn, CFO
Claudia is a seasoned finance professional, serving as the Chief Financial Officer for numerous start up and early-stage companies in media and communications, manufacturing, aviation and biotechnology industries. Serving as a core start up member of several companies, Claudia established initial infrastructure, processes and procedures in operations, finance, accounting and HR areas of the companies she has worked with. She has served as director or board chair of companies, at the request of lenders/investors seeking experienced, independent, operating and financial direction and guidance. Claudia graduated with a B.S. in Finance from Quinnipiac University.
